#Rest@rt Cultural Tourism seeks three persons of high-energy and detail-orientation to participate in an internship program in Athens, Santorini island and Mykonos island. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the successful candidates will work with the platform’s staff to further the development and mission of Cultural Tourism.
Candidates must be creative and enjoy working within an entrepreneurial environment that is cultural-driven and art oriented.
Ideal interns will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities. The ability to work independently on projects, work under pressure, and deal with confidential matters with discretion is essential. The intern should have a strong interest in art, music concerts, exhibitions and other intellectual activities.

Duration:
10 days/ month for 6 months at the Greek islands + 3 days/week (4 hour office work) for 4 months in Athens.

The internship program requires 4 months in Athens with 12 hours per week (3 days of your choice for 4 hours/day) AND the ability to travel and stay to the islands for 10 days every month during the summer season (May – October) to coordinate art events (exhibitions, concerts, theatre).

All traveling costs, accommodation and food (breakfast and dinner) are payed by #Rest@rt during your internship in the islands.

After fulfilling the 10-month internship practice, you get a credit verification for your academics.
Full time and part time working positions are available and interns are highly preferred to continue working with us. One guarantied admission every year for the best intern who will be hired by #Rest@rt in full time working position.

Responsibilities:
– Maintain knowledge of current trend in Cultural Tourism to aid in the expansion of the organization
– Maintain all social media platforms, post events and updates, and work to generate a larger following
– Assist with supporting documentation and printed material (catalogues, posters, flyers)
– Assist in transferring of the artworks (full clean driving license is required)
– Assist on event production by coordinating back stage details.
– Assist with media planning and PR administration, cooperate with our media sponsors for releasing newsletters and advertising material.

As we have many projects in the pipeline, you will be very helpful if you are skilled at social media, event planning, event management,newsletters, written and verbal communication, campaigns, organization and coordination. Of course, we are highly detail oriented to ensure perfect production flow.

Educational Value:
Interns will learn and develop interpersonal skills in dealing with the public, media, and artist community in person, through online and telephone communication. They will gain “real-world” experience in working with the local media, writing texts and articles on featured artists, and event productions in general.
Interns will gain insight into the greek artist community and touristic market and interact with top ranking greek hotels at the most popular destinations.
We can also address opportunities that align with an individual intern’s interest if it relates to our operational procedures.

Eligibility:
Internships are available for university undergraduate and graduate-level students and recent graduates of university programs.
