“A Flower for a Poem” is a group exhibition that was presented at Aqua Gallery in Santorini on 2019
“The artistic thematic exhibition “A flower for a poem” includes artistic creations, depicting descriptive, abstract and symbolic themes through the means of collective expression.
It seeks the expression of the human inner need, the subconscious dimension and the psychosynthesis that are expressed in art form, shaped schematically, color-defined, identified and interpreted conceptually through plant, flower and landscape depictions. It aims to narrate the description of nature via contemporary and up-to-date sight, following thoughts and visions of great poets and writers, leaving intense feelings of emotion and sensitivity to the viewer.
Senses become active in combination with thoughts and visions. With artistic completeness of ideas and techniques, complementary and contradictory concepts, a memory and knowledge unity is created.
From Antiquity to our days, flower as a symbol of timeless emotional expression in all cultures, myths, fairy tales and legendary love affairs, becomes a spiritual embodiment of nature, exaltation and commemoration, aiming to provoke awe and thrill”
